  • Borobudur is a ninth-century Mahayana Buddhist monument in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The monument comprises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, and is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues.[1] A main dome, located at the center of the top platform, is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues seated inside perforated stupa.
  • Mount Semeru also known as Mahameru ("Great Mountain"), is one of Indonesia's most active volcanoes. What stands out most about this mountain is the fact that it erupts periodically (and very reliably so). Every 20 minutes or so, the volcano belches out a huge cloud of steam and smoke,
  • Lying 200 nautical miles east of Bali, Komodo National Park nestles between the large islands of Sumbawa and Flores, all of which are part of Indonesia's Lesser Sunda Islands (Nusa Tenggara on current maps). This unique biosphere was born in the great volcanic uplift that formed Sumatra, Java, Bali and the islands lying eastward to Papua New Guinea.

Puncak Indonesia Hotels

Historically a heritage hotel (circa 1928), Puncak Pass Resort has been undergoing carefully planned renovation and extension since 1975 carried out without disturbing the existing superb balance of naturally open and built spaces to preserve the luxury of privacy much enjoyed by the staying guests.

The resort designed with an open layout and next to nature concept with a discrete community of luxurious bungalows and spacious chalets spread over 5 hectares of lush green slopes of Puncak.

Worth to visit surrounding areas of interest, natural & historical (Bogor Botanical Garden, President Palace in Bogor, Cibodas Botanical Garden, President Palace in Cipanas, Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park etc).

Puncak on Java is a nice town to visit, there are some Swiss wooden chalets to be found here! Why? Beacuse of the colonial times! Check out Puncak and share your hotel review and other reviews here! Your experiences and pictures are welcome!

The hotel is decorated mostly with natural stone. All tiles and some of the walls are covered with these stone. It makes the interior looks so natural combined with green plants and flowers all over the place. The stones can absorb the cool air pretty well thus lowering the temperature in all of the rooms.

It has a square swimming pool, 1/4 of it is for children and a whirlpool if you want to submerge yourself into it and release all of the stress while looking at the beautiful scenery of mount Gede in front of you. Unfortunately, there was no warm water for the swimming pool. I think if you swim under such circumstances, there is a high possibility that you will get sick if you are not used to do that.

The room is okay, nothing to complain. We don't do the breakfast here because it is not included in the price.

Some of the rooms, such as suites have their own heated pool. For those who wants to enjoy more time in the rooms, I think it is better to choose the suites.

Escape heat and pressures of Jakarta for the cool mountain air at The Jayakarta Cisarua. For those who prefer to escape to the cool air of the mountains, The Jayakarta Cisarua is located on the hills facing the wonderful views of Pangrango Mountain. It is only a 45-minute drive from Jakarta and 2 hours from Bandung. Although not far away from the main road it is a perfect hideaway and a refreshing oasis of tranquility nestled in spacious, beautifully landscaped gardens. A perfect choice for an intimate office get together or family outin
